Now I was with Port Vale sitting 5th in league 1 with a game to go and Cardiff offered me a job. They had been relegated from the championship but I thought bigger club why not. Low and behold when I arrive I find out that they took out an 18m loan which is paid back at 300k a month and its murdered my finances. I've sold a couple of players and made about 2.5m but this money has been eaten by the loan. I'm 5k within my wage budget but with no funds in which to strenghen by very young squad.
