Agreeing Transfers?

I often seem to get messed around by clubs when trying to buy a player I want and I was wondering whether there is a best way to go about negotiating deals, whether it is to unsettle the player and then when setting fees what to do:confused: just to try and save me some money.

I find it better to give positive comments about a few managers that I know I will want to buy players from later in the game. Then when I bid I usually offer just below their value and then up it by £1 million at a time depending on the player, I usually only compliment the player once or twice.

I try not to annoy many managers as they tend to accept my bids at a cheaper price if i have a good relationship with them also i unsettle the player aswell.
