Noticed something else with pre-match press!

Has anyone else noticed when you are starting to play well and winning most games quite easily, all of a sudden every manager in the world has something to say about "you not winning the league this year". This obviously means you have to guess what answer to put and my god if you choose the wrong one, thats it, your team turns into a team that cant put one foot in front of the other let alone pass a ball, while the opposition who have terrible morale and no form turn into world beaters.

I know its been said before that the press conferences need working but sometimes it feels like the only way the AI can beat you is if it tries to trip you up. I mean do press conferences have such an impact on results on such regular occasions.

Just had the the last three oppostion managers doing this and of course these ropey manager's make my team turn into jibbering wrecks just by saying "not going to win title this year" after we have played 6 games.

normally when other managers say that about my team a number of my players become determined to prove them wrong and we end up going into our next ga,e with key players feeling motivated.

Yeah I get this a fair bit, I normally go for "the title is on the cards for <my team>". Keeps everyone in positive spirits.

you don't have to respond, i find the mind games can upset your team more than the opponents so i usually stay clear and if the ai managers try to wind your team up and it fails there is no need to respond.
