AnfieldRoad10 Posted July 3, 2009 Share Posted July 3, 2009 Not that i'm complaining... Basically, in 2011 with Bolton, we finished 10th in the league, despite being in 6th for most of it. Legs went towards the end of the season. England were granted one extra place in the euro cup, which on the 'rules page' stipulates that the team finishing 8th will qualify for the euro cup 1st qualifying round. (dependant on FA cup and league cup) both the FA cup and league cup were won by teams who finished in the top 4 and we made the quarters of the FA cup, which was further than the teams placed 8th and 9th. Basically, despite finishing 10th, we're in the europa cup qualifying stages, anyone know why? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
