LFC Rule
If I have 47mill in the bank and transfer budget of 61mill, how much can offer over the 61mill. I am trying to buy a gk for 102mill. Anyone know how i can structure a 102 mill payment?
bigdanio
you can't. if you spent the 61m budget that would come out of the bank leaving a balance of -14m and a transfer budget of zero.
Campbells
no keeper is worth 102million, im sure there is one that will do the job as well if not better for probably a quarter to a third of that price, but hey im not here to judge
Maran
Wouldnt advise a 102million purchase of a goalkeeper. Check out Hugo Lloris, should cost around 30m
Brian Shanahan
As far as I am aware monthly installments count as only half for your current budget (eg £5m over 12 months = £2.5m off the budget) but be warned it will be taken off next year's budget. If I am right you will have to pay at least £71m in instalments and the rest up front. Can't see it happening, other teams want a premium on instalment plans usually (time value of money). P.S. to everyone else he could be a long time in the game, prices do go up a lot after a while. After 14.25 years if inflation is at 5% average, prices will double, a not unrealistic prospect. Dale Gribble
I'm pretty sure FM doesn't register inflation though.
c0de
Is it possible that one club accepts lower price just because you pay right now than if you pay by monthly installments ? For example a club accepts my proposal for 20m rather than paying 30m by monthly installments ?
SCIAG
Er, yeah, FM doesn't have inflation. The 50% only counts for 24 month installments.
LFC Rule
I wasn't going to name the gk but now that the thread has a player naming tag, it was Petr Cech. I still think he is worth but in the end I could not get the board to stump up. I bought Rene Adler to replace Valdes at Barca. Adler cost 34mill. LFC Rule
Ps I am in my forth season 2011-12 but I don't think there is inflation in FM
SCIAG
Petr Cech isn't exactly player naming
LFC Rule
I didn't put the player naming tag on the thread. Probably the Mods. I don't know what the player naming rules are. I just thought it prevents naming any player.
mkus
Petr Cech isn't exactly player naming What is he then, a linesman?
messi
No goalkeeper is worth 102 million, ever ever ever. Don't bother. Look at Asenjo or Lloris, or even Mandanda for a fraction of that ridiculous price.
