bardock
Why aren't our coaches helping us uncover any given player's free role ability? RL managers would be able to see if a player would do well in a free role in training, but since we can't really look at training, I think the coaches should shed some light on this hidden attribute. It should be very easy to implement since the mechanism behind it can already be found in the game and it'll be very helpful. Something like X believes that Y is ok/good/great at finding space by moving around freely.. Better wording obviously but again something along those lines. nni
Agreed, for some tactics it's essential to have players with "free role" in certain positions. Our scouts should be able to tell us that.
rougess
Nice one I'm still not sure that the free role stat should be hidden in the first place...
Mitja
agree with op. but there shouldn't be free role attribute in the first place. player with good decision, off the ball, flair etc attributes should be able to deal with free role instruction imo. Agreed. Creative, attacking players with these attributes are the ones that you consider for free role. Creative wingers that cut inside, Attacking midefielders (obviously) and FCs are the players you would want to give free roles. Not all of them, of course. Get to know your players and use your judgment to determine if their ability merits a free role. Simple.
messi
Yeah, good idea. Hopefully this will be in 10/11 as it's not a hard one to implement...
Cometdude
This should have been in the game ages ago! Good call
