World scouting

I have never had a player report when i have sent a scout on world scouting.

Same for anybody else?

Is it a waste of time?

Same for me, I always remove it when I realise the world scouting is on.

it works fine for me, updates coming in during the months , the list grows and so on

I managed to find a couple of gems with it on, but it was only on because I forgot to change one of my scouts assignments.

Nowadays I keep 1 scout on world (if I can hire 6+) just in case.

But since FM09 came out, and ive been at all different kinds of high level clubs and had high level scouts....i have never seen any reports.

Surley one of the scouts should have come up with at least one report, thats alot of seasons without a report as i always have 1 scout on world scouting.

The problem I find is that they tend to scout the more obscure nations which are not selected. So, there are bound to be less talent there. I use it when I'm a big clubs with tons of scouts (that way I can afford an extra scout). Otherwise I always direct my scouts so certain areas.
