Danielsan2000 Posted June 29, 2009 Share Posted June 29, 2009 In my Gateshead game I just won the CL and the premierleague ... and I was playing in a 13.000 sitter stadium. So I got into the editing business, withdrew 80 million euro from my bankaccount and added 17.000 extra seats making it a nice 30.000 capacity stadium. However things just dont feel the same, its in the back of my head constantly and I cant play with a good conscience, so I am done with Gateshead .... now I just need to find myself a new nice little team in the lowest conference with no capacity limits. foofighter23 Posted June 29, 2009 Share Posted June 29, 2009 i think for your crimes you should sentence yourself to 3 months imprisonment, sharing a cell with joey barton and with no FM. when you come back you will only be allowed to manage the worst team in finland as you have a 2 year management ban in the UK and upon your return to the UK will never really be respected by other managers and some players... 'no harm no foul' 'baby with the bathwater' 'nose to spite face' and other such cliches seem to describe quitting a game you've invested that much time in. Well, I still have the savegame, I guess I could just edit it back, only played 10 matches or so ... and I can get 70 million back, I ll leave 10 million as a penalty fee. Danielsan2000 Posted June 29, 2009 Author Share Posted June 29, 2009 Well, I just had a debate with my inner guru, and he told me that if in fact I did manage to get Gateshead to be one of the major teams in the world, that I wouldnt be playing in a 13000 capacity stadium. So I´ll leave it at 30.000 and continue my game after much thought, the only thing I need to figure out is wether the 80 million euro is enough, but in regard to that .. I have no clue.
