Goobertron
You know when you get a player injured you sometimes get the option between sending him to a specialist or letting your physio treat him? Well, why would you not send him to a specialist? Why even bother giving us the option?
Hershie
Cost I'd imagine.
Niall Clarke
As I've mentioned before, I would like to see an estimated cost of each shown with the news item.
sm1979
I would never NOT send them to a specialist, but I can imagine if you have some key games coming up and you are already down to the bare bones, then sending to a specialist takes longer usually than letting him heal himself/with the aid of the physio - therefore the player coming back sooner for these games. Brian Shanahan
Any time I've sent someone to specialaist it has been quicker, but I'd imagine it would be signifcantly more costly than physio.
bluebirds4life
Specialist is 2 months quicker for me with Deschast, Gago and Tevez.

jptykes
You know when you get a player injured you sometimes get the option between sending him to a specialist or letting your physio treat him?Well, why would you not send him to a specialist? Why even bother giving us the option? I don't use the specialist option if it's nearing the end of the season. Ultimately I'm without the player for the close season either way, so I just leave it to the physio. Earlier on in the season and I always use the specialist to get players back asap. SCIAG
If I'm a big club, I'll always use the specialist. If I'm not, I never will unless I have to (i.e. physio isn't an option).
lfc5sb
a specialist cures it forever (Normally) for the benefit of jptykes so it would be much safer i miss the old option where you would get a physio report and if your player was injury plagued you could send em to get it sorted even when they were fit to stop it coming up again
phnompenhandy
Specialist is 2 months quicker for me with Deschast, Gago and Tevez. you must be a club that can afford specialists. The simple reason not to is money; a real factor for lower league, cash-strapped sides.

Goobertron
Is there any way to find out how much it costs to send them to the specialist?
roykela
I always use the specialist, whenever it can be done. Doesn't matter for me if i'm at a big or small club.
