United_Till_I_Die
My Assistant Manger isn't too good and I keep trying to release him but the board always block it because of compensation. Is there anyway I can get past this?
Hershie
Try offering him a shorter contract than his current one, so the cost of releasing is lower?
bawbag the gr8
You can use an in-game editor to either end his contract, or to reduce his wages so less compensation is required, allowing you to release him. However, you could view this as cheating.
carrarud
What Hershie said, other than that no. Unless you like cheating that is!
Hazzydeepy
You could sign a new assistant manager and use him for all your advising. You would have 2 assistant managers but you could just ignore your current one I suppose.
United_Till_I_Die
I tried giving him an shorter contract but he never accepted it and he wouldn't go for lower wages. Hazzydeepy:The board won't let me have two assistant managers.

Cometdude
Have you tried mutual termination? Not usually had a problems with that.
Pr0fes0r
What about moving him to a coaching post instead?
United_Till_I_Die
Mutual Termination is the same as just trying to release him normally. And he won't accept any offers to do with coaching.
AcidBurn
If you want rid of him so bad downloading FMRTE is the only way to do it.
United_Till_I_Die
I downloaded FMRTE but whenever I try to open it I get a message saying it stopped working. Any help?
bluebirds4life
Have you tried mutual termination, as if you didn't sign him(he was there at a start) he'll automatically agree with a less price.
david22
I usually offer them a job as coach
Radon
Generally, coaches/assistants won't accept a one year contract, unless you really bump up their wages. As this generally means he'll have less than 12 months left on his contract, it's not the worst idea in the world. However, I'm in the same boat as you at the moment, but with coaches. I've just offered mine two year deals, and now, about once a month, I try offering them mutual termination (which the board will still block if the compensation is excessive).
