Amaroq Posted June 20, 2009 Share Posted June 20, 2009 Morgie, there is such on FM'09 as well, I think - but that is only whether you want to make the bid public or private. Both the club receiving the bid, and the agent for the player, have an interest in the bid being made public - if there is competition for his services, that should drive up his sale price and the salary he can command. You can't control either of them .. so you can't control whether a bid is eventually made public. I do wish the "don't know where the leak was" text indicated something more like "either the other team or the player's agent must have leaked the bid..." just to clarify that; the way its currently worded makes some people suspect that they have a mole in their own club!
