atcdelay
Looking at two strikers to sign- the first one with off the ball, influence, teamwork, determination, and flair greater than 16, along with decent striker stats but who is labeled as an inconsistent performer. The second striker is labeled as an consistent performer, lower mental stats, finishing 15, composure 14. Which striker would would you choose? bardock
Depends how important he'll be to your team. If you have others to pick up the slack when the inconsistent performer isn't playing well then by all means sign him. If you need someone to lead the attack every single game then consistency has to be the more important thing to look at.
Mojby
I tend to stay clear of people labelled inconsistent performer just because you need players committed all the time to the team cause. You should be able to find loads of other players with similar stats that you can buy.
erik86
I agree with mojby but sometimes for no apparent reason, players fit better in certain teams. Try them both if you can and decide there after. Or follow your ass man if he has good ratings.
