Tommy \'the red\' Howard
Anyone ever had their job status as untouchable? Ive just seen this for the first time in 2015. The Godoy Cruz manager for some reason...
Chocapik
Try to make an ultimatum and you'll see what untouchable means in FM
Motherlover
Nope. Didn't even know it was in the game. I suppose it could happen if the club chairman decided he fancied a spot of coaching...
Raware
Yeah, i've been untouchable a few times during my save. From what i saw, it's when your job status is 85% secure or above. However, it disappears when you start a new season when your job security drops back down
Deaksydeak
got unouchabe after promotion in first season. But like Chocapik and Raware touched upon, it is more 'for show' than what it would be in real life. Ie- changes down when season ends, make an ultimatum, do something harsh... bardock
Has anyone tried to give the board an ultimatum with the untouchable status
Chocapik
Has anyone tried to give the board an ultimatum with the untouchable status That's what i was saying. If you try it you'll be fired as usual.
Gauvner
Ultimatums are always a sure way to get the sack.
bardock
Then why the hell is it in the game?
Chocapik
Many things in FM are just for show. They said they've put agents in FM but it's only text. They don't do nothing.
Gauvner
Bardock if you made a ultimatum to your boss saying: "Bardock": Boss i demand a higher wage, if not im outa here. "Boss": Well tahtah then. Heres your crap off the desk. Its the same at a club.
LeeroyS
Screenie, i have never seen it before
Chocapik
Bardock if you made a ultimatum to your boss saying:"Bardock": Boss i demand a higher wage, if not im outa here. "Boss": Well tahtah then. Heres your crap off the desk. Its the same at a club. If you are untouchable you shouldn't be fired. At least some sort of compromise. "The board won't meet your demands now but will try next season."
bardock
My why the hell is it in the game was an attempt to criticize the outcome, which mind you should be different like Chocapik mentioned with certain managers. No, it's simply me wondering why SI would choose to add such a useless feature in the game. It should be changed from ultimatum to hand in resignation, semantics I guess. erik86
Untouchable Im guessing would be Sir Alex Ferguson in real life, but he might still be forced to resign if he handed an ultimatum to the board! Not too bad I dont think, especially if it only stays for a short while.
Motherlover
I once had an ultiminum that succeeded. It has to be said though that at the time that i'd won 6 Serie A titles on the trot
