Pod17
Hi all, im looking to start a new season with one of the two. My aim is to build an English team over a few seasons and wondered if you could recomend who to be and if anyone knows some good english signings i should get. Cheers
ham_aka_stam
Man City would be easier as you'd be able to afford the over-valued english talent. Villa would be more realistic however, and would be my choice.
Ginger
Villa all the way - having the kind of cash City have makes the game way too easy.
apcbos
Yep I agree with Ginger and Ham aka Stam, City have become a "must avoid" team when starting as there's no challenge. Now Villa is far more intriguing. I'd look to buy Huddlestone from Spurs and I'd also be looking to ship out Carew and maybe bring Crouch in who is far more reliable and less injury prone. tomtuck01
Should be posting this in the What Team Should I be? thread really.
fdawsoniv
If you play a lone striker formation, you can ship Carew with no need for a replacement. Heskey and Agbonlahor will fill the role quite nicely.
