Returning?

I've played CM/FM since the first version. I'm not a huge gamer but have always loved the football games.

I got FM 09 and just didn't like it. I agree with another thread where the guy has listed everything.

Now that the summer transfer chaos is really kicking in I'm wondering whether or not the game still has a lot of appeal for those hardcore FM'ers?

I would appreciate any feedback before I re install the game. I can find plenty of reviews online but they are all for the 'out the box' version.
