Stevedox
Are a total disgrace in this game. Whenever you are a club in ready for a takeover you can expect speculation to last weeks and a transfer embargo to last months. Totalling up 5 months now under an embargo, no actual news stories for at least 6 weeks. Not as bad as when i was Crystal Palace and the whole thing took two whole windows. But whenever these clubs are AI managed the takeover takes two weeks maximum.

Rafa2007
Just had my takeover time at Liverpool in 2030 last 3 days, only took 3 days for the Italian tycoon to have his offer accepted, take over the club and then lift the embargo
phnompenhandy
Every season my chairman tries to sell but never does - transfer embargos for nothing! It's all part of real life, I'm not complaining.
ROESIDER
What clubs are most likely to have takeovers on FM 09 ? BTW I am using the latest patch , the one after 9.
dafuge
I had one recently which lasted two months from the first news story with a rumour about the chairman stepping down to the last one confirming the new owner. It was largely uneventful as the takeover brought no extra financial backing and it was all concluded outside of the transfer windows so there was no transfer embargo. As a Pompey fan I know how long takeovers can take in real life, our club has been rumoured to be for sale for around 18 months now and the current story looks like it's going to run for a while yet. Detritus
I've only had one take over, an internal promotion takeover at Santos, took about a week and they didn't invest anything afterwards
