enter22
can someone tell me how you work out players ca and pa please?
Satriani
Check with the Editor or us genie scout. Genie scout is better as that will show you up to date values, the editor only shows what it's like at the start.
hjfh
Data editor is the easiest way to view it.
Lisandro Lopez
This belongs more in the PC/Mac General Discussion forum, moved. You can look in the editor and see what his starting CA/PA is. Or use an external tool.
Smallen
you should download Genie Scout or FMRTE if you want to view a players CA and PA quickly and what it is currently in your game.
dafuge
You should be aware that these are values that are not designed to be seen when playing the game though, that is why third party utilities must be used to see them.
SCIAG
CA is basically useless too, as it is more or less the sum of the attributes (which you can see) and doesn't affect the ME. PA is the possible improvement of the CA. As dafuge says, seeing it sort of ruins the game.
MorrisseyMuse
I've never been a fan of the CA attribute myself, but it may help to keep players' levels in perspective with one another perhaps. The CA usually governs the attributes to a degree, for example when editing, changing the CA for a player can alter his visible profile stats. The game seems to 'balance' unrealistic stats/CA combinations alot better in FM '07 onwards though (eg. the game won't upgrade a player's stats to nearly all 20's just because his CA is 190). PA is indeed his potential value as already stated; these two stats together can be used to cheat to find the best players (along with other hidden stats such as consistency), which is why they're naturally hidden in-game.
