bawbag the gr8 Posted June 12, 2009 Share Posted June 12, 2009 Not so long ago, I ran a sign-up/experiment simulating 20 business tycoons taking over 20 Romanian clubs, and providing them with fame, glamour, huge stadiums and almost limitless resources. Now it returns, but this time, Slovenia is the target. There are just 10 clubs this time, with each team playing the others 4 times each. There is also now one twist. Instead of taking over previously existing clubs, the chairmen have decided to found their own clubs. Because of this, the clubs will start with no players, so FIFA have been kind enough (or have been bribed enough) to allow each club to pick, at random, 3 world class players and one rising youth to kick start their team. These players have been picked entirely based on CA (and PA), and things such as age were taken out of the equation, leading to several players who are at or past their peak being in the draw. And now you come in. Firstly, you need to pick your players, using the following form (numbers can only be chosen once): World Class 1 (1-30): World Class 2 (1-30): World Class 3 (1-30): Rising Star 1 (1-10): Then you need to fill in your team details: Name: Short Name: Six Letter Name: Nickname: Stadium Name: Chairman Name: Manager (Real Person): First Kit (Design/Colours): Second Kit (Design/Colours): Third Kit (Design/Colours): One Feeder Club: One Rival Club: ------------------- There is one small thing that you get to choose for yourself. Now that half of you have received your players, I can now reveal that you are free to pick ONE SPECIFIC POSITION, and your team will get the best player who plays that position out of all the remaining players in the database. As before, this is completely based on CA in one game I started for this purpose. You can only make this decision when you have received your 4 players. I suspect that most people will be after a goalkeeper, because if their team doesn't buy one, the 'grey' goalkeepers won't be very good at stopping some of these strikeforces.
