Nik_Dut
Dear SI. I'm proposing to you about "loyalty attribute" Because IRL, i think Juventus will never put Nedved status under "not needed by the club" Milan with Maldini, Giggs and Neville at ManYoo, and a lot more.]
Ryknow
Players already have a loyalty stat, so maybe if this is high and they have spent more than 8 seasons with the club then theres a higher chance the club will keep them and let them finish their days at the club. Is that what you kind of mean. This would prevent Giggs and Neville being released but still could move through transfer, if they wanted to.
phnompenhandy
There would be nothing disloyal on the part of the club or player if they agreed for the player to see out his last days at another club - eg Paul Scholes having a season at his boyhood club Oldham when he doesn't have the legs for the EPL/Europe. Nik_Dut
What i meant is in FM often we see old "legends" players are transfer listed and statused "Not needed by the club"
bardock
Nik Dut has a good point. The player can choose to leave if he wants but it's very rare for a legend to be put on the transfer list (if ever). They usually leave on their on accord after their contract runs out or they become part of the backroom staff.
