my brother has given me the task of trying to find a player that has scored 30+ league goals and the team he is playing for hasnt managed to finish in the top 4 (not linked only with premiership) im pretty certain there has been at least one player out there that has been in this situation. any one care to help me prove him wrong :)

Gary Hooper for Scunthorpe this year in League 1 scored over 30 didn't he? They finished in the last play-off spot.

And Scunny went up so doesn't that mean they finished third on a technicality?

Not really. I certainly don't see it as that. Dunno why. Probably as the table doesn't show them any higher than they finished so I just stay with them being there.
