kevinM182
My assistant manager, Rab Douglas haha , is reporting that all my players are being overcofident and overly cocky is there a way to solve this?
Deadmaninc21
I always tell them that I expect a performance. works well most of the times. At half time I then check the motivation and make changes if the team talk didn't work with some players
Avelives
One way I found last season of combating this is to never answer the question in press conferences about what you think your chances are like based on your current good form... always say "Id rather focus on playing the game than needlessly discuss it" It seemed to help, whenever I said I thought we'd win it made them to overconfident. I think also this has alot to do with your teams general mentality (which differs from squad to squad) I think some players are more prone to it. BigAmzz
one time my assistant told me "craig gordon looked over confident and cocky in the warm up" but he played an absolute blinder for me, i dont think confidence is such a bad thing
