AB-forever
Yeah but England should never be invited. According to the Wikipedia article the following other teams have oarticipated after getting an invite in the competition history: Mexico 7 times Costa Rica 3 times USA 3 times Honduras 1 time Japan 1 time The game should choose CONCACAF nations or in rare cases some team from a random confederation. Mike7077
It amazes me that Si have never eliminated this problem across versions and patches. England competing in the Copa America is ludicrous!!
dafuge
Have you installed the latest patch? I believe this issue was looked at.
PMLF
The game should choose CONCACAF nations or in rare cases some team from a random confederation. Japan was a one-off thing (some agreement to promote the 2002 WC here or something), but CONMEBOL only invites teams from CONCACAF. Nobody in South America wants to see teams from outside the Americas in Copa América again. Obs: América in Portuguese and Spanish refers to the whole Americas, so the USA, Costa Rica and Mexico are regarded as countries from the same continent as Brazil, Argentina and other South American countries.
