Transfer fees - Undisclosed??

Why doesn't this exist? In real life it does. It would be a good idea to have the option to keep transfer fees private so that teams cannot see how much you are paying for players to see what your spending power is.

Playing with Manchester City im getting a bit sick of selling clubs holding me to ransom and i know that undisclosed fees are used to counter this exact thing in real life.

But everybody knows Man City have billions of pounds.

I think the selling team can choose to keep the fee private by setting the transfer as "private". The buying team obviously can't do this (as the selling team in real life is the one that agrees to keep it private).

A human can still see the fee, but theoretically an AI team can't.

Anyway, pesonally I think IRL one of the biggest problems financial wise is the unsdisclosed fees, as noone knows how much the player, the palyers agent, the clubs agent, the chairman, etc. has got from the fee, as there is no information available.

But if the club is a PLC, these figures have to be released to shareholders in their AGM and annual report. In other words the real amounts do get publicly announced, but often months after the transfer when the media have lost interest.

It is undisclosed only to the public, but for matters of accounting the figures have to be stated.

Besides, as manager, you want to know how much you paid.

While it would certainly be more realistic, I think it would detract from the game and I would oppose it's implementation.
