7shane7 Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Hi all, i have just bought a new laptop its an acer aspire 6530 its got a amd turion X2 dual core mobile technology RM-72 2.1ghz processor, 3gb DDR2 ram 320gb hdd, ati radeon hd 1048mb 3200 graphics card. I bought it mainly to play fm09 on but its sooooo slow, its on vista is that slower than xp. i used to play on my computer which has slower specs than the laptop i got and it was so much faster that was on xp. Can anyone tell me whats going on cus its really unplayable and with those laptop specs it should really be fine. is there anyway to speed it up or change anything, any suggestions are more than welcome. FrazT Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Have a look in task manager and see how many applications are running in the background while FM is running- you will be astonished and stopping all but the most important ( very few of them are important ) will certainly affect the speed of the game.
