Also is this a better option than looking for it in my town somewhere, as my ASDA and Tesco's are not selling it at the moment. What are the pro's and cons? Details below: You can play it without loading up Steam by doing the following: Go to C: Program Files - Steam - Steam Apps - common - Football Manager 2009 Inside this folder you will find the FM09.exe Create a shortcut here, and drag it onto your desktop The game will now work without running steam - make sure Steam is NOT already running when you do this. But overall the download is just a rip off. You can backup all your steam games on a disc, or externe hd or whatever. Steam then makes an install for your game, even including an autorun for discs. The only benefit I can think of is that I had an impulse purchase on a Saturday night and Steam meant I got the game within an hour.
