tommyh_16
Hi everyone, I know this might the wrong section for this thread, and sorry in advance if it is! Just the other night i started a new game controlling Newcastle in the EPL with 'real players' turned off because i wanted a new challenge. I seem to have inherited a fairly good team and signed some good players but im really really struggling atm I've lost in all 3 games and also lost to Doncaster in the League Cup. Does anyone have any advice on what i can do try and fix the situation? Any help would be much appreciated
Eles Gergo
try the tactics forum where you probably will find info about newcastle
tommyh_16
Yeah i would, but i turned off real players so they're all regens Would a really defensive tactic to try and get draws and scrape wins be useful?
Motherlover
Yeah i would, but i turned off real players so they're all regens Would a really defensive tactic to try and get draws and scrape wins be useful? It depends entirely on your players! Unless i'm mistaken they aren't true regens are they? Turning off 'real' players just makes approximates of existing players. You can usually guess who's who anyway.
miguel_zarabulo
It may just be that you are newcastle? ha ha No I tried this with Middlesbrough and inherited a top quality team, I think its just the luck of the draw really. You could try a more defensively solid tactic and try to nick goals on the break
