Managers money/salary ? Whats the point? What do you do with it?

I've read on here before that the higher your wage and the longer the term of your contract means the board are likely to be more lenient with you and less likely to sack you as a result of poor performances, so negotiating as high a wage as possible does apparently have that benefit.

I was too quick in dismissing it as aesthetical in the sense that 'you can't spend it', but I believe it does have the benefit you've stated. :thup: My bad.

On the flip side of that, it would presumably also make it more expensive for another team to recruit you as they'd need to buy out your contract, so a long contract on high wages might restrict your chances of being offered other jobs.
