Simplify your save data option

It will be very useful if implemented in FM10.

So basically, it is a command to "simplify" or erase details from 2 seasons before, and only keep details from last season up to now.

The origin of this idea is to make a long runned game back to as stable as the fresh 2 seasons in the game saved file, and decreased the loading and processing time.

Not sure save games in FM09 become any less stable after more seasons.

This may "simplify" things but doubt it would be simple to implement - its not so easy to achieve - its not like cutting off a slice of cake its more like plucking thousands of needles out of a very large haystack.

IMO resources and time should be spent elsewhere.

The problem i see is that you'll lose history of whats happened about everything in game. Transfers, records etc will all be gone. Unless between seasons the game thins out the things that are needed to be kept which would be counterproductive as this would take a lot of time for the game to sift through.

Maybe simplify by making once "clickable" become "unclickable", like those retired players/staff ?

It depends on your computer specs i would think.

I won't swear on it but doesn't this happen already? All games from over x seasons ago become just scorelines so that they take up less space.
