Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 With one of the old guard at the club, let's call him Ian Atkinson now heading for his 900th game for the club and his 39th birthday, it occured to me, how rare would this be? Goalkeeper, been injured three times in 16 years. Freakish really, especially when I've had a winger who's been injured 7 times this season. Well, taken some bad knocks. I'm praying that his run continues just a a little (well, 2 seasons) longer. Probably asking too much of an aging player, but keepers in this game don't really get injured.
