TPO
Hi there! So we just moved out from our old house and now that we're all set in the new place i fire up my new laptop to install my beloved FM2009 and... the disc is gone! I got the case and the booklet with the code - is there a way to solve this easily? New disc sent, download from Steam etc?? Or is my only option to buy the game once again? Best regards Tobias, Sweden
gazwefc
tbh crnt see them sending you a new disc, i could simply borrow my cousins copy of the booklet and case and ask the same, not sure how it works with steam though id guess the same!
TPO
Oh - or can I somehow transfer the game from the old comp to my new on since as I recall it the disc does not have to be in the drive when starting or playing the game? gazwefc
try it out you would have to copy both SI folders the one in programe files and the one in my documents
TPO
I'll give it a go - doesn't Windows need registry keys and stuff for it to work - I'm guessing that that's where the Keycode info is stored, well well - paying again feels a tad overkill - perhaps I should wait for FM10. Thanks for the reply though! Tobias
thehollowman
Should be downloadable via Steam if you have your code put in there. I assume a physical copy of the game also includes downloadable verisons.
