Top 10 things you NEVER think when playing FM

lol loving number 7 and 10. So true. When my girlfriend wants to use the comp on the eve of the CL final i tell her to sod off!

Needless to say I end up on the couch that night.

I actually do number 8 with each iteration of football manager. Give them sugar daddy and a slight boost to the attractiveness of the home city, and then build your football empire

Op I think number 3 all the time.

I was fairly beaten in that match. I mean, fair play to the referee, it was a sunny day and he might not have seen that their striker was offside because of the glare.

1 - My girlfriend may need the computer for Uni work

I score a lot more late goals than the opposition.

I honestly wouldn't contemplate it but after enlightening a friend about FM the first bloody thing he did was sign Carlton Cole for £7million. I don't know why I bothered...

1) It's great to see my goalkeeper has such intelligence. (And the rest of my team)

2) Looks like Stoke are doing well in the PL

3) This bloke won't score againt me - he hasn't scored in 3490 mins of football.

4) My right back WILL get them 3 goals he needs to make it 25 career goals.

I have an exam tomorrow, best go and do some serious revision at the expense of my FM season.

This is the best version of FM yet....

I'm so glad I lost that match in the final minute after completely dominating the match. Really heightens the realism.

Oddly enough, that's exactly what I SHOULD be saying right about now. But what are you gonna do, eh?

Brilliant! Some of these are hilarious!

1. That SI give as much as a toss about the quality of FM as they did when it was CM.

2. That the 3D is any good.

3. That the tactical interface is well designed.

4. That press conferences are a worthwhile and well designed new feature.

5. That FM improves with every release.

6. That its a really great idea that "For the Fans" means "Do a professional job".

7. That the game is well balanced.

8. That SI are more interested in true depth and realism rather than poorly implemented and wafer thin new features.

9. That training is realistically and thoughtfully implemented.

10. That Im glad I bought FM09.

1) I just wish my strikers would score a few less one on ones, its getting boring them slotting every chance home.

fair play, i mean torres did score a hattrick and you are a team in the relegation zone but to turn the game around to level it so late on is very deserving.

One of the many reasons I avoid the English Leagues in FM :-)

Yes Ref, that definely was a yellow card for the opponent and I have deserved all 9 yellow card I have got even though I am the fairest team in the league.

It was only for 2 matches before I took over Scotland though.

# whatever - Having to use all my subs because of injuries before half-time means I don't have to worry about using them normally.

I'm going to give my cat a can of real tuna tonight, as a reward for walking over my keyboard just as I was saving my game (resulting FM to crash and the save to get corrupted)!
