Blackbag
I don’t know if this has been suggested before, but it would be nice if at the end of the season your assistant manager gave you feedback regarding your reserve and youth teams Example- After meeting with the coaching staff i have the following recommendations The following youth team players are coming to the end of their contract and should be released as they are not of a sufficient standard List of players The following youth team players are of a reasonable standard but stand little chance of making our first team squad; you should consider transfer listing these players. List of players and possible asking prices The following youth team players are of a good standard and should be offered a contract List of players Having looked at the reserve team, the following players have really featured in the first team squad and you should consider their futures at the club List of players At the start of the season i would like my assistant manager to inform me of players that have less the 2 years remain on their contracts as well as those with 1 year remaining
WelshWolf
I think its a good idea, would help me get to grips with my reserve and u-19 squads, and on top of that would add an extra sense of realism.
Brian Shanahan
It would work for me too, as I have an awful tendancy of hoarding my youth teamers "they might come good in 4 seasons" and then having to release them at 24 when my ass man has given them a 4 year contract worth £2,500 a week. Razorblade
But isn't that what the star ratings near the coach reports are for??.....
