The object of this sign-up is to score the most goals against the most different teams throughout an entire career. Every player will start out at the age of 15 or 16 and will begin their career in the lower leagues of one of 18 different countries. The countries available are listed below, along with the 9 different nationalities that are available to choose from.

Available Leagues

Chinese First Division (April to November)

French CFA (August-May)

German Third Division (July-May)

Greek National B Division (September-May)

Portuguese Second Division (August-May)

South African First Division (August-May)

South Korean N-League (April-June and September-November)

There will be one player assigned to the lower leagues in each of the 18 available countries, with 2 players forming a partership at the international level for one of 9 different countries.

Available Nationalities

Cape Verde (1 spot available)

Guatemala (2 spots available)

Honduras (1 spot available)

Belarus (2 spots available)

Poland (1 spot available)

Each year will have a winner crowned champion for the previous season, with an overall winner being decided after all players have retired. Since some of the leagues run at different times of the year I've decided that each years winner be decided based on the results from the previous season. Since Brazil runs both a league season (June-November) and the individual state championships (January-May), the results will be based on combining the state championships at the beginning of the year with the league season of the same year. I will be starting the game in June due to the majority of playable leagues starting around that time.

In the instance of two players being tied at the end of the season, a bonus points system will come into play to help decide a winner. You can earn bonus points for a number of different things, both individual and team accomplishments at both the club and international level. The various ways to earn bonus points are listed below and are currently open for additional suggestions.

I have already filled 11 of the 18 available slots with posters that I know are reliable due to taking part in my other sign-up, but am opening up the final 7 spots to anybody else that will be willing to contribute and post on a regular basis. If you are interested you will need to fill out the template below, as well as listing your league and nationality choices in order of preference. I will allocate both league and nationalities through a draft system based on your preferences.

When assigning attributes to players, I am going to use a random number generator to determine how many attributes each player will have set to 20, 18 and 15. Your job is to list the attributes you feel will make you the strongest striker in the order of importance, with a minimum of 30 selected. Each random number generated will be between 1 and 15.

Example: 6, 12, 8

If these were the numbers generated, then your attributes will be your first six at 20, the next twelve at 18 and the next eight at 15. All remaining attributes will be randomised.

Once I have received everybody's template, I will reveal the random numbers that are generated.

can you have both shoots with power and places shots? i thought it was one or the other, as if you dont you get players thinking "ooh, a nice tap into the corner should do it" *smashes ball at the crossbar* "oh well, better try again..."

Here are the starting screenshots for each player. A few players are currently midseason and have already played a few games and scored a few goals.

Everybody has 48 hours to submit a list of the attributes they would like to improve before the game starts. Remember that a lot of them will improve dramatically over the next several years, while some won't go up quite as much. You can allocate 40 points across any of the visible attributes of your choice. The new thread will be posted after I get home from work Tuesday evening.

this may seem harsh, but you can have hamilton's place since he didn't fill his template out correctly and appears to have logged off.

Shame i missed out on this. I saw Jack's warning, but then my internet decided to go haywire so i couldn't edit my post :( Not my fault, but i shall be following this :) Not trying to beg or anything, but if possible could i have a spot as it wasn't my fault :( If not, don't worry. Just irritating that's all :(

Good to see this up and running. Maybe it was not a good choice to start in Turkey as we have a stupid no foreigners rule in the second league. Nevermind though. It'll be interesting to a Chinese striker in Turkey that's for sure :) The attribute boost is:

Penalty Taking: +5

Free Kicks: +5

Long Shots: +5

Bravery: +5

Work Rate: +5

Team Work: +5

Creativity: +5

Anticipation: +5

Starting in Brazil

That should give me a good opportunity to score against a few different clubs, as long as I can get in the team.

based on the few test games I've run, that shouldn't be a problem. It all depends on how well the team does.

I also forgot to mention that all players started the game with a CA of 120 and a PA of 200, so everybody is capable of becoming world class at some point.

that was one of the things I discovered during the test games, so I made sure that everybody had the nation of the league they are starting in set as a second nationality to avoid that problem.

Quick question regarding the bonus points: as Guatemala are in the Gold Cup, which doesn't have a qualification process, would my player still get bonus points for qualifying when the tournament starts?

that's a good question and one I hadn't considered. I can either remove the bonus points for that completely, or I can change it to be 'Compete in a Domestic Competition'. I'll leave it open for discussion and see what those playing in other regions think.

Is it possible that a regen from the 1st batch could be altered? If not, no worries. Damn stupid internet connection :thdn:

unfortunately not. the game is already balanced with one player in each available country, and it wouldn't really be a level playing field to add you in a year into the competition. If anybody drops out and doesn't post within the first week, you can certainly take over their spot.

OK, fair enough :) I hope someone else has internet problems now :D
