Kickballz
I'm sure he'll get used to playing at a lower tempo if that's how you want to play.

Kickballz
Well it depends actually. Some do and some don't.
Orion Dean
I've always ignored this, why bother changing the whole teams tempo because of 1 person?

heathxxx
More of a squad gelling issue and how well the player will or won't eventually adapt to your tactics. This is entirely down to a number of factors like nationality, how well he speaks the language, which is down to his adaptability. You often see players used to playing completely different tactics to your own needing a little time to get to grips with your settings, so for me it's just a case of being patient. I tend to see it most often with strikers "not used to closing down this much", because I hive high closing down settings for them, as I like to keep opposing defenses under pressure. They usually get to grips with my settings after several games.
Kickballz
I think it was 'In my experience' although I only realised when I read through the list lol
Irchard
I find that the easiest way around this problem is to not read the assistant manager's thoughts in the first place.
Skrotfooey
But... just checking because I'm new to this: There is no way to change an individual player's tempo, correct?
kingjericho
i think the answer to this thread is: good for you mr. collins, but i don't want you to play at a higher tempo
