play fm09 without being on the net? it never works for me.

You can use Steam in an offline mode.

You can activate through steam but still play the game the old way ie. Clicking the icon on your desktop. I do it this way, and incase your wondering your save game still works through steam even if you load the game the old way.

If you have a disk you dont need steam even if you activated this way.

It will if he clicks on the default one.

You need to go into the steam folder on your C drive and then something like games then FM09 and there should be another game launch there, use that and you bypass steam

yep thats what i was doing, now i have found the other launcher, thanks for your help here everyone
