Dregganor
I have never played in the MLS on FM, so forgive my asking of this question. Has the game been programmed to allow for the possibility of a franchise relocation? This occurs every now and then in American sports, the MLS example being the relocation of the San Jose Earthquakes to Houston. I was curious as to whether this possibility was considered for the game. I guess it could be in the same vein as a board takeover, stemming from a lack of funds, interest, etc.
ndebergerac
Very much doubt it. That would be along the same lines as Dutch teams merging, it just can't be put into a game until/unless it happens irl. The legalities are probably the main issue.
rancer890
License issues would prevent that from happening. Although allowing expansion clubs to appear in the future would be nice. But license issues with expansion as well.

Luckily for SI they didn't / weren't able to implement this as it actually didn't go through
