Amaroq Posted May 18, 2009 Share Posted May 18, 2009 That seems fair to me, too - its an odd thing that its the only spot in the English pyramid where its a "only the champion is guaranteed promotion" bit. I can't see the League clubs agreeing to it, though - how is it in their best interests? You might be able to get a bit more buy-in if it were something like: two guaranteed promotion, two guaranteed relegation, plus six clubs in a playoff: 3-6 from BSP play a home-and-home, with the two winners facing 21 and 22 from League 2 for the final two spots.
