~Ian~ Posted May 15, 2009 Share Posted May 15, 2009 SIGN-UP IS NOW CLOSED The mythical city of Atlantis has finally been discovered, and like all nations, it needs a football team. Players who sign-up will be included in the national squad to play for international glory, and an Atlantan team, International Atlantopoli, has also been placed in the Italian Serie B. Sign-up players will also be in this squad competing for glory on a domestic scale too. I will be managing the Atlantis national side, but not the domestic team. As well as the sign-up players, there are two more footballers I have edited into the database. These are the Golden Twins, Eric and Derek. As brothers, they are of course in each other’s favoured personnel. The similarities end there though. Eric plays for Milan, while Derek has joined Inter. While Eric is a great guy, does charity work, always great with the media etc, Derek is not. The words which could be used to describe him wouldn’t be allowed by the swear filter. I will also monitor how they do in this experiment. The Atlantan domestic teams have also been created, and they will be followed in European competition, as well as any good regens coming through. More details and a fleshed out backstory will come in the proper thread when this gets started. All database editing has been done in preparation, just the sign-up players need to be added in. There will be 24 spots available, and here they are.
