Mar$haLL
Has anyone ever managed to get a player out of retirement? Lampard who is 38, retired from England & I asked him to come back the next day and he did. Also John Terry retired and wont come back What's your experiences on this? CaptainPlanet
Nope, never. It's like trying to get a red card rescinded or the board to agree to an ultimatum.
Insert_Goal_Here
Only using an editor did i manage it! No i didn't think it was even possible
Raniel3
I did, actually with the demo. Played an Italy game and for fun tried to get Totti out of retirement... he said yes! Well, as I actually didn't need him I didn't call him up for next match and he was so angry that he retired again!

DanThomas2006
I have quite a few times.. Got Owen, Ferdinand and Ashley Cole back.. Not many players seem to retire though, a lot of the squad are in their late 30's..
AbsoluteGenius
It should happen more often. In real life I'm pretty sure Zidane and Makelele came out of retirement to help France.
Inssi
Just had Casillas retiring at 36, asked him to come back immediately and he did. Had to replace him from captainancy though the "select new captain for Spain" response came up at same time as the news that Casillas decided to return. Dale Gribble
It should happen more often. In real life I'm pretty sure Zidane and Makelele came out of retirement to help France. Pretty sure Thuram did too.

NLmichiej
IRL for Holland Edwin van der Sar came back, if only for 1 or 2 matches... But haven't seen it happen in FM, though I must say I don't regularly play with national teams.
