Torpy
Having adopted an Arsenal style transfer policy, I have very little homegrown talent at my disposal. To my dismay I found out that the EURO CUP aka UEFA Cup/Europa League IRL has quotas on homegrown players... The one that is worrying me most is that I need 4 homegrown players that have trained at my club for the past 3 years. I've let go of most of the older youth team players since they were pants and were never going to develop anyway, and the remaining few with decent potential I've sent out on loan. Now I don't think I have remaining enough homegrown players in my reserves/U18s to meet the quota, does this mean I have to recall the guys on loan just to make the quota and proceed in the competition, even though they would essentially be token inclusions that won't get near the 1st team anyway? phnompenhandy
It's not a problem because you only register players aged 21+. Your younger players can play in Europe regardless.
Dekker
You don't have to meet the quota if you register fewer players - register 4 fewer players than the quota and you don't require home growns. And don't register under-21s
