Have CD, lost activation code.

As the title suggests, I have my FM2009 CD, but after having a problem with my laptop, I had to completely re-install Vista and therefore, eveything ws deeted from my laptop, including FM.

When going to re-install FM, I realised I'd lost my manual, probabaly due to going to and fro between uni an home.

Is there anything that can be done, or is it a case of buying another copy?

Juast ask a mate if you can have his activation code, or phone SI

If you installed via steam, then steam might still have the information saved under your account. Try asking them...

Is it definate that SEGA Support can help? I tried phoning them yesterday but was on hold for a fair while and just gave up. I don't want to bhanging around paying for a long call to be told there's nothing they can do.

they'd be the ones to deal with i would think. they distribute the software. there's definetly things they could do. giving you anew cd if you send them your old one would be one option i'd think.

Isnt there a serial number on the CD you could try quoting this to customer services you never know they might be able to get your seat up on their computer and verify details with you.

SI have cosistently said that SEGA and not themselves can help with activation codes as long as the circumstances merit it, of course.
