Question regarding future fees (transfers)

My board accpeted a bid for Gignac (i'm Toulouse) from Man Utd for £21m without consulting me. Fair play because £21m is a huge bid. Problem is i've just looked at my finances and i'm in the red by 800k which i don't quite understand.

I've spent £17m on players but sold players to the value of £49m. When i took over i had a £5m budget and my balance was a healthy £9m. The balance of -800k makes no sense since i have made a profit of around £30m.

The only sense i can make out of it is the Gignac transfer is being paid in installments. If this is the case will the money suddenly just appear when the installment is due - not sure on the date, didn't even get to view the transfer, it was just accepted?

There’s a screen in finances where you can see all transfer income, so you should be able to see how many instalments are due (if any).

Not sure how to get there though.

In the transfers screen there is a menu on the left hand sice for Loans, Clauses etc and in the Clauses it will state that Man Utd owe £275k per month for the next 23 months or something lke that if it is instalments.
