Some super rich investor came in and is basically pumping in about £6 million a month just to keep the bank account topped up This happened in the second season. baker.simon Posted May 4, 2009 Share Posted May 4, 2009 Its my guess that all clubs have a chance of being taken-over at some point in the game. Tycoon takeovers were quite common, too common i think and SI patched it to become less frequent. From the start of the game though there are a few clubs who are pretty much guaranteed takeovers, like Crystal Palace, Newcastle were pre patch but dont if thats changed. They wanted to replace me with Jens Lehmann, my goalkeeper coach. But I stayed, and all that happened was they cancelled 6 (i think) affiliations.
