Little problem

I always play poorly in the first half in league games.

This causes me to have to attack, attack, attack in the second half to grab a win.

I really do play poor, misplaced passes, bad tackling and general distorted game fluency.

In the cups, I am OK generally.

I've tried different team talks but NONE have any effect on my players. The team talk feedback screen simply says; 'Nothing specific noted'.

How can I improve first half performances?

(Just a quick tip, never ever say 'thrilled' at half time. FM09 seems to have a Vendetta against this option as it always seems to spark a comeback).

How goes your second halves, generally, anyway? If you get a win as a result, why not try attacking from the start?

I've read through that, can't make heads or tails of it. I've attempted some tactics from that guide but they always fail, rather badly too.

x42bn6 - I've tried a slow approach to the game. I play worse!

Counter attack, defensive, attacking, all out attack. I've tried it.

In the second halves, I dominate. Normally score then too.

I can't keep possession at all in the first half.
