Lewisss...
I am now midway through my first season with spanish club Fuerteventura after i got a little bored of my previous save with Derby County and im thoroughly enjoying this low league spanish football.... However I have noticed something quite interesting... I have been having ALOT more penalties playing this game.... So is it true that the spanish players in the spanish leagues DIVE alot more than us in the english leagues ?? Seems to be this way for me... Anyone else picked up on this ?? Wee Aja
Suppose it just depends on the individual players' sportsmanship. I'm not 100% sure, but I'd imagine that to be the case.
el sid
Coincidence imo.
heathxxx
Having now watched quite a fair bit of Spanish footy at different levels IRL, I would say that Spanish refs are possibly more prone to giving free-kicks for lesser contact than in England. How that's reflected in the game might be down to how accurate (or not) the researchers have rated the officials.
mlp071
I have noticed in '07 that more teams Spanish leagues had hard tackling as default.Maybe it's same in '09. That could explain , together with lower player attribute ratings, increased number of fouls/penalties.
