Offering Players A Contract - Joke

Now i'm not normally one to complain but I'm offering a player a contract and he wants say £375 a week so I offer 425 just to be safe, no one else comes in for him yet he still rejects. I go back to him and hes still interested wanting the original amount. This has happened numerous times now and frankly is really beginning to wind me up.

2 Players now gone elsewhere after being offered contracts now. My 2 main targets as well, spent all day playing and it looks like this is gonna ruin my game completely.

Are you sure that the player does not want any other clauses, such as appearance fees?

The one that i've just offered a contract to again doesn't other 2 not sure about now as they have gone will most probably happen again soon though so can check some more then:D

One thing to check is the length of the contracts you offer. Sometimes players can be rigid about this.

One thing I always tend to do is offer players a high goal bonus, regardless of their position. It usually adds some weight to negotiations I find and if they score lot's of goals, thus costing you more in wages, at least they've earned it.

Made sure they all had exactly wanted but now i'm left without 4 of the players i wanted and 3 positions with no one in them.

What club are you playing as, what league and importantly, what clubs are competing against you for players?

I'm Eastwood in BSP but like I said no one else was in for these players and they were interested.

Yes, but you've also said you missed out on some of them afterwards. I can understand your frustration though.

The only thing I can really suggest is that if possible, you praise them in the media, plus offer them additional incentives above what they're asking.

Otherwise, seems like it's going to be a long hard season.
