musint
Hey guys So one thing we know is that players with unset PA have ranges i.e. -10 170-200 -9 150-180 etc. However, my question is does the PA that the player get assigned at the beginning of the game relate in any way or form to his VALUE? So for example, when I start a game multiple times with a -9 PA player, sometimes his value is 1.3 mil, sometimes only 300k. Does this have a direct correlation with the PA he has? If not what does it correlate with? (Can someone with genie scout check this? I have soccer manager and can not check.)
arsenal_2111
Seeing as it isn't to do with player naming this is probably a question for General Discussion. EDIT: I'm not crazy. I'm not. It was in GPTG, I tell you! GPTG!

MarkyMark
(Can someone with genie scout check this? I have soccer manager and can not check.) Genie Scout does work with Worldwide Soccer Manager, if that's what you are refering to.
phnompenhandy
Value is linked to PA. If you're interested in a 16 year-old whom you can sign with a compensation payment, the size of the compensation is a pretty good indicator of his PA.
Administrators Neil Brock Posted April 29, 2009 Administrators Share Posted April 29, 2009 Actually I'd say it's more an indicator of his PPA rather than his PA. This means he's seen as a potentially good player however the valuation market, along with the scouts and coaches, could all be wrong.
Ajaxkevi
Where can you see these potential numbers :s?

jakobx
Players value is not an indicator of anything. Its just some random number that doesnt mean anything. Unless of course you are playing an older version of FM where it actually meant something.

PhroX
Any player is only worth what you're willing to pay for him, or what you're willing to sell him for. So true. “Everything is worth what its purchaser will pay for it.” - Publius Syrius (guess what I've been playing alongside FM...)
