millsy1982 Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 Having played quite a few games with different clubs on FM09 I think this has been my most enjoyable save. I'm in my 2nd season with Telford and I'm looking for back to back promotions. I'm over achieving with my squad and currently sit in 1st place after two thirds of the season, although this is the closest I've ever seen a league table:- <a href="http://www.imagehosting.com/"><img src="http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/513/tighttable.jpg" border="0" alt="Image Hosting"></a> Has anybody else had any close league season, where more than the usual two or three could win the league? Hopefully I can maintain my decent form (I don't have to play my bogey team Burton Albion ) and can secure my 2nd promotion in 2 years and bring league football to the small town of Telford! This is my first real ventrue into true lower league football, the lowest I've played before has been League One, so this has been one of my most enjoyable FM experiences ever. I ended up blowing my rivals out of sight and with two games to go I'm hoping to surpass the 100pts mark! I've never seen this message of from a board before. At the start of the season I was asked to battle bravely against relegation and the media tipped me for 20th place. It would also appear I'm now loved by the people of Telford given this message I seen in my news inbox:- Here is the final league table for the 2009/10 season. Football League here we come!!!
