Rafa2007
..retire squad numbers? I read somewhere that apparently you can, if a player plays a certain number of seasons or something? A response would be nice from an SI person? Or someone that has been able to do this.
Stevicus
I don't think it cn be done, I have certainly not seen an option, neither have I seen a thread with proof that this feature exists. If it were to exist, I imagine that it would be the board/chairman who decides to retire numbers.

ahmufcwafc
I thought it was announced as a new feature for FM09. I haven't come across it yet though.

No, the overall inclusion of retired numbers was a new feature, however, we can't seem to use and choose them ourselves. Suggestion for FM10:thup:
Carrotdude
So numbers retired in real life are retired in the game also? But new ones won't be retired in the future?
