A good player, yes, but deserving of this award for this year, absolutely not! Could think of a dozen players who had better years. He only started something like 8 or 9 games! Nice try at interpretation, but I don't think so. SFraser manages United in his games and comes across as a fan in the truest sense of the word (fanatic). I am a Man Utd fan and have always been one however I really don't think he deserved the award. There is no doubt that it should have gone to Vidic, pretty much the main reason for Man Utd going so many games without conceding. I mean, Giggs is still very good but has only played 12 games this season and so I don't quite see how they managed to justify giving the award to him.
